Common questions

How do I change prices?

Open PriceGrid from your Shopify admin. Type a new price, compare-at price or cost in the grid. Use the arrow keys and Enter to move between cells, and Esc to undo a cell. Typing on a product's row sets that value on all of its variants. Then click Save, review your changes, and choose when they apply.

Can I schedule a price change?

Yes. When you save, choose At a set time and pick the date and time, at least a minute ahead. Times are in your browser's timezone, and PriceGrid also shows your store's time if it's different. Scheduled changes usually apply within a minute of the time you set. You can see and cancel them on the Scheduled page.

How do sales work?

Choose Sale when you save and set a start and an end. PriceGrid applies your sale prices at the start and puts the original prices back at the end. Cancel a sale on the Scheduled page. If you cancel while it's running, the sale prices stay as they are.

A change says "Didn't apply". What happened?

PriceGrid checks the price on Shopify right before changing it. If it was changed somewhere else after you made your edit (in Shopify admin or by another app), PriceGrid doesn't overwrite it and shows the reason instead. Dismiss the message, check the current price, and edit again. The History page lists every change and its result.

I changed a price in Shopify admin and PriceGrid shows the old one.

Click Sync from Shopify at the top of the Prices page. PriceGrid also syncs automatically when you open it if its copy is out of date.

How much does it cost?

US$9.99 per month after a 14-day free trial, billed through your Shopify invoice. There's one plan with every feature.

I chose a plan but editing is still locked.

Shopify can take a moment to confirm a new plan. PriceGrid checks for a minute after you return from the plan page. If it's still locked, close and reopen PriceGrid after a few minutes. If it's locked after 15 minutes, email us.

How do I cancel?

Uninstall PriceGrid from Settings → Apps in your Shopify admin. Billing stops, and scheduled changes stop applying. Your data is deleted 48 hours later, so you can reinstall within that time without losing anything. See the privacy policy.

Does PriceGrid access my customers' data?

No. PriceGrid only reads and writes products and prices. It never sees your customers, orders or payments.
